This past weekend, we got to host our first ever conference as a ministry and to say it was Holy Spirit led is an understatement. Moment by moment the Lord intervened in any thoughts we might have had to bring His true purpose to fruition from a more simple set list to the speakers being aligned so divinely. Heart and soul was poured into this event by mere mortals but it was the Awesome God that brought the day to be so impactful.

Lara started us off with a raw and encouraging message. The depth of her love for us and God was seen. Lara reminded us that sometimes we do need to tend to the grave but it's not to dwell in our past- but to have hope for our future.
Casey brought a powerful word as she dove into Colossians and spoke on the Truth of being hidden in Christ. She broke down this passage so beautifully and in a way that spoke directly to our hearts.
Emily spoke on being "Made for More" but in a different perspective than most would expect. Emily shared that maybe our "more" is being more present and active where the Lord currently has us. Emily challenged us to see where the Lord has us so that we can fully walk in obedience in His calling upon our life.
Finally, our panel (led by some of"The Husbands of TTS") closed out the day with practical stories and steps to live out what was learned at the event. Each board member opened up from a season of hardship that brought them to where they are now. They shared how their different strengths/gifts help further the Kingdom and where God has them NOW.

Made For More was nothing less than a dream come true! Watching a room full of women realize they are chosen and called specifically by God into each and every aspect of their lives was truly life changing. My heart and spirit are so full. It’s truly a joy to step into the will of God. No matter what that looks like for you. We are more than our circumstances, we are more than our past, and we are more than what this world labels us as. God is so good and He never fails. Our stories are perfectly written and orchestrated. We have to choose everyday to live in the more God has for us. And when we take that step of faith, God does the rest.

I had no idea that I would get confirmation after confirmation on what God has been teaching me the last year at our Made for More conference. God is ALWAYS writing my story. He never puts that pen down. To see a room full of women being vulnerable and letting God truly work in their hearts was such a beautiful experience. I pray that every woman left with a new sense of purpose. That God is going to use you right where you are. I’m so thankful to be a part of a ministry that meets women in their mess and walks beside them in love and encouragement.

There’s something so special in spending a day with women. This conference just filled my heart so much. We don’t need to be doing more. We just need to do what God called us to do in where we are! We are enough and He equips us for all we are going to go through. The worship, the messages, and the games just made my Saturday so fun and spirit filled. I didn’t want it to end!

Made for More was such a blessed event. After being so involved in the behind the scenes, to see all the hard work come to fruition was so beautiful. Sitting in that auditorium with those women of God surrounding me, was exactly the encouragement I needed. To know that so many are growing in their confidence in Christ, accepting their stories, and walking in freedom together, truly inspires me to continue to pour into this ministry. We really are Made for More. More than the standards of the world. More than our labels, jobs, or roles. More than the voices and lies we battle every day. More than the environment we live in, or people we are surrounded by. We are More in Christ, who made us, chose us, and called us. We are forgiven and free. Forever bound to Jesus— not our shame or grave we once lived in. I am so thankful for that reminder. For the truth that was spoken over so many precious lives at this event. I am expectant of the amazing testimonies that will follow Made for More. God really poured His Spirit out. I know He will continue to do so, if we are open to receive what ‘more’ He has for us.

As I stated at the event, it always amazes me how intimately God loves us. He was so kind to align details as He did for the event to purposefully and solely speak into the heart of 70+ women at our event. I know that He is good - I know that He is loving. He shows it often and in small moments but goodness, I love those big moments as well. For the first time (probably) ever, I wasn't living in frustration or exhaustion for an event for God. Don't get me wrong, I fought the enemy the whole week before but I stood before the day in peace. I was assured at what God would do because just about everything I had in mind for the event had been changed. As I stood before my team, board and the speakers I was just overwhelmed with emotions once again that I get to do this. I believe that the Lord planted this dream and desire within me that now I get to live out. It is an honor, privilege but also great responsibility that I do not take lightly. I can't wait to see how God takes this conference to grow the seed that was planted and watered.
If you missed out on Made for More in person we truly believe that you won't miss out on the blessings and abundance that flowed from it. We are living in the "more" and ready to encourage you to do so as well.
See you at the vision workshop in January!
