I have had many conversations with women asking what kind of Bible they should purchase. Honestly, these are some of my favorite conversations. I believe it is so important for everyone to have a Bible they are comfortable with. Despite the norms in todays society, I am not a big "Bible App" person for personal study. I do love the resources that it gives and the accessibility at any given point but I believe that everyone needs a good paper Bible that is their everyday resource. In this post, I have listed the Bibles that I currently have and use. As I get more, I plan to update this. Refer back to it and let me know the Bible that you use!
Here are some of my recommendations:
This is my go-to Bible recommendation for all women. I used this Bible for about five years when I graduated high school. It is easy to understand using the Holman translation and has devotionals throughout the text. It has background information and cultural context before each book with a reading plan. There is also a good bit of room in the margins for journaling. I highly recommend this Bible to all women!
(Oh, and there is a He Reads Truth Bible!)

This is my current Bible and I absolutely love it. It is thinner than most but still has tons of amazing resources within it AND journaling space. One of my favorite parts of this Bible is that it has

This Bible is a simple Bible and when I say that, all I mean is that it truly is just the Word of God. I got this Bible to try out a different translation. I struggled at first without in-text helpers but soon learned to love just the simplicity of God's Word where I could add in my own thoughts.

Features I Love:
Journaling space
Openness to take it all in
This Bible is still new to me but I am loving it. This Bible is a study Bible but it goes more in-depth about what was taking place in that time to relate to what is going on now. This is not a Bible for everyone but if you enjoy theology and teach, this is the Bible for you.

Beautiful illustrations

This was my first study Bible and I truly love it. It is perfect when I am preparing to teach or need information on the text I don't understand. This is perfect for anyone who studies the Bible but I would say that it is not one I would just always carry around due to the thickness. There is no journaling space in this Bible as well.

I haven't gotten to use this Bible as much as I want but it is absolutely beautiful and just dainty to hold. I love all of the features within it.
