We GET To (Montana Wallace)

Me and my husband got the opportunity to take our oldest and my sister to see Elevation rhythm and Forrest Frank. It was my son’s first concert. We were so excited because we basically only listen Forrest right now. What I wasn’t ready for is to cry as soon as elevation rhythm started playing. I don’t mean like a slight tear or two. I literally looked at my husband and said “THEY WONT STOP”. It was in that moment that I realized how lucky we really are. In a stadium with 10,000+ people in it all praising the most high king. I sat there watching my 5 year old sing these songs that are filled with so much truth in them. He doesn’t even understand the full meaning of these words but Satan can hear him sing them out and knows this baby is already fighting for the kingdom. The fact that we get to go and worship God in such a public place and we don’t have to fear what could happen was just so overwhelming in that moment. It reminded me of the things we take for granted. We don’t have to go to church every Sunday. We GET to go and freely worship our Heavenly Father and what an absolute blessing that is. That concert just gave me another look into what heaven will look like when we arrive and we hear from our father how well we have done and get to stand with other believers and worship Him forever. And for that I am thankful.

A little bit about Montana...

I’ve been happily married for nearly nine years, I'm a mom of two boys and a proud big sister to Jersey. I work part-time as a hairstylist and truly love what I do. While Rahab has long inspired me, I've recently been drawn to Jonathan’s deep love for the Lord.
