A New Truth within Psalm 139

As I studied Psalm 139 this week, I was reminded of a new truth I had never realized before. I've always referred to Psalm 139 as the way God made me beautifully but it is so much more than that. It shows how God knows me, all the ways He goes with me and the way that I am fearfully and wonderfully made. God knows me so well through searching me, my thoughts, the words I speak and the path that I am on. He knows me in every way.

He also goes with me any and everywhere that I go.

When He made me, He was so specific to me. He knit me together and formed me specifically. He knew me deeply even before my mother thought of me. He knew the days ahead that I would walk. His works are wonderful and I am one of His works. I am wonderful and because of how deeply He went to make me and know me, I can praise Him. The God of the universe didn't have to do that but He did because I am His.

I can walk in confidence of what I am doing and where I am going because I know that He is in the process with me. If I am going off the path that He is calling me to, Holy Spirit comes and convicts me because He knows me.

So we can walk boldly and confidently in our calling because if we are not on the right path, not only does He know that but He knows you well enough to convict you for you to choose the right one.
