Sweet Moments (Montana Wallace)

Right now my little boy is real into me asking him questions and playing “would you rather”. One evening we were playing outside and I asked him two questions 

1. “If you could buy mommy anything in the world what would it be?” 

2. “What do you wanna be when you grow up ?” 

His answers blew me away, especially since they came from a 6 year old. 

“Mommy, I wanna good family. You know like I wanna be a good daddy” 

This little man has always loved babies and stuffed animals. He takes care of his stuffed animals like they are real. He tucks them in and kisses them goodnight. If he sees a baby, he’s gotta hold it 

His second response was even better….

“I would bring your daddy back from heaven so he could be here and never die again” 

Cue the waterworks. 

Being a mom has so many different parts to it. You’re constantly teaching them things they need to know now while also trying to prepare them for the future. 

Something I take very seriously is raising my little boys to be Godly men so they can be great husbands and daddies. It’s not something I take lightly. Having this little conversation with Ky just showed me how much he’s taking in from me and his daddy. He understands the importance of being a follower of Christ already. He sees us teaching and learning the Bible with him. And his sweet little answers reminded me that My Heavenly Father sees me and is using my little man to speak to me and show me He’s proud of me.
