The circle I’m building

I’m building a circle, not wide but wise, not filled with noise, but truth that never lies. Not crowded by those who only want to be seen, but rooted in souls who are steady and clean. I want fire starters who pray in the dark, who speak life when I’m losing my spark. People who sharpen like iron on stone, who cheer when I rise and cry when I groan.

“Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another.”

-Proverbs 27:17

I’m done with the draining, the masked and the fake, the ones who just take and take and take. I want laughter that heals and silence that’s safe, a table of grace, not a throne built on praise.

“Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.”

-Galatians 6:2

I’m building with women who fight on their knees, who bring oil and laps when I can’t see. Who don’t just clap when I shine on a stage, but sit in the ashes when I’m locked in a cage. I want wisdom over trend, truth over charm, people who love me with both grace and alarm. Who’ll call out my pride, not just pat my pain, who sees the whole picture, not just what I gain.

“Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil. For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow.” 

-Ecclesiastes 4:9-10

Because circles shape hearts and carry our weight, they walk us through loss and open the fate to healing, to growing, to standing up tall, to reminding our hearts, we don’t have to do it at all.

So I’m building my circle, small but strong, with souls that stay when the nights are long. And in this safe garden of roots that run deep, my soul finds rest, and my purpose keeps. 

“Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing.”

I have a passion for serving people and helping out in any capacity I possibly can!
